Ceremony Outline

Men
Divine Masculine

This is an opportunity to truly embody your strength and compassion… in a way that has been practiced for 1000’s of years. Be one with the male energy, moving with it as it holds and supports the Feminine. ....

Sit with brothers and feel the honouring for and from the Feminine and Mother Earth.

Men will hold powerful, intentional space around the fire to welcome the women - sage women -  and then move to form a large circle around the fire while the women dance and sound. Men are invited to join in with drumming/sounding.

To complete the ceremony we stand together and place our gifts and intentions into the fire.  Finish with Chant.

Women
Divine Feminine

An incredible opportunity to - Embody, celebrate and dance the Sacred Feminine in a space where we will be honoured, held and witnessed by our Men.  Our song and dance will honour the sacred aspect of ourselves, the other and mother earth.

Women dress in their finest, tribal feminine dress, create gifts for the Masculine and in choreographed union embody the beauty and heart consciousness of woman and express it in celebration to and with our Men.

----

Brief Ceremony Outline:

The ceremonial aspect of this event has been designed to be a gentle build up so that the women get time to truly "drop in" and get present and embodied.

Women gather together - veiled and holding candles.  A core group of women harmonise and sound us "in" to the circle of men.  We circle the men and are saged.  Men move to outer circle. Sacred prayers and intentions are set.

Women then perform choreographed movement, chant and breathwork.

Some Women will perform a more elaborate dance - if you would like to be part of this group please see the "Core Tribe" Nights

To complete the ceremony we will give our gifts to the Masculine and all together place out intentions into the fire.  Finish with Chant.

MORE DETAILS:
WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENS?!

We have yet to finalise the details for the Ceremony for 2016.  It is an ongoing co-creation leading up to the event.

However, as a base to work from, a general outline is as follows:

OUTLINE TRIBAL FIRE CEREMONY

All choreographed to powerful music, singing and chanting by amazing musicians.

Men will meet early in the day without the women. Build the Fire. Run through the event and create sacred space.

Women will be getting ready together at a house nearby.

Ceremony begins at 7:30

Men will start by facing out from the fire. Holding powerful space. Women will approach Veiled and holding candles. Women will circle the Men. Each woman will end up standing in front of one man. Women bow gently to the Men.  Men bow back.  Men will light sage off the Woman's candle - sage themselves and the Woman. (Simple practice of waving the sage over the body - with presence - to let the smoke clear the space )

Men then move through the women and take their space on the outer circle facing in towards the fire.

Sacred Intentions and prayers will be set into the space.

Women will complete a ceremonial piece (around 25 mins). Including movement, chant and sounding.  Men join in on certain aspects of the sounding, drumming and chanting. For example, singing a song together such as the one playing in the background here.

At the end women face the man they have ended up in front of.  They will move to the men and bow in reverence again - presenting the men with a small intentional gift to be placed in the fire. Men bow in return and help women into the outer circle to stand together with them.

Everyone moves together to set intentions into the fire.

Closing prayers & Chant.

Ceremony will close by 8:30pm

Rest of the Night is celebration, jamming and generally soaking up the LOVE vibes around the Fire.
